LBCOIN - Bank of Lithuania blockchain-based silver collector coin (denomination: € 19.18; mint condition)

LBCOIN is the world‘s first blockchain-based digital collector coin. Together with its physical version, LBCOIN was issued on 23 July 2020.

It was available for purchase on the Bank of Lithuania’s e-shop. The Bank of Lithuania has released 24,000 collector tokens created using the blockchain technology. Each token features one of the 20 signatories of Lithuania's Act of Independence. Collectors had a chance to collect the entire set. Tokens were divided into 6 categories based on the signatory’s profession or field of activity, with 4,000 tokens allotted to each of them. When purchasing LBCOIN, buyers got 6 randomly selected digital tokens and only upon collecting a token from each of the 6 categories they were able to redeem a physical silver coin. Purchase price for 6 tokens was 99€.
